Burger and Lobster

My wife suggested we try this restaurant while we were in London in early December after reading a review on this this blog. I had not heard of it before and it created all sorts of connotations in my mind. Firstly burger and lobster? A lobster burger? A burger of lobster with claws hanging out?

Jeeves and Wooster a perfect nonsense

I first heard that Jeeves and Wooster was in production a few months ago as I follow Stephen Mangan on Twitter. I remember watching Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie in the original Jeeves and Wooster television programme in the late 80’s. It was funny but I think my humour wasn’t quite at their refined level and some of the jokes passed me innocently by.

Being a fan of Stephen Mangan from Green Wing, Dirk Gently and the brilliant “Dan” in I’m Alan Partridge I was quite keen to see him do some live acting. Jeeves and Wooster in “A perfect nonsense” was a no brainer for me. My wife took little persuasion as she is a fan of Matthew Macfayden from his Mr Darcy days.
